For the client in the vicinity of Vrhnika we designed a semi-detached house. It is an interesting project for investment with good return. It is located on a plot that is the last in a series of built-up building plots, so we had to be careful to properly merge the house into the environment.
Access to the property is directly from the regional road Vrhnika-Ljubljana, namely from the south, so we designed the entrance to the building that faces that way too. On arrival we first notice two designer free-standing carports.
The roof, which has an industrial trapezoidal shape and boasts a low pattern in a gray matte color, is covered with sheet metal roofing, which on the south and north sides continues to the floor through the façade cladding. On the east and west sides, the façade plaster is white. The storeys of the building are G + 1 + 2.
The living areas are oriented towards the exit to the terrace, which is on the northern part and borders on the adjacent plots. In this way, we have provided the residents with a certain amount of privacy and a retreat from the noise of vehicles coming from the south side.
On the ground floor, there is a wind access to the office, a smaller bathroom and a staircase to the upper floor, where is a large bedroom with a dressing room and a private bathroom, two children’s bedrooms with access to the attic bedroom and a children’s bathroom.
